Not much has been happening
Well, not much has been happening lately. We are preparing for a trip to Paris on June 9th. We'll be gone for 10 day. For those of you educated in government schools, that means that we'll be returning on the 19th of, any one? any one?, June, that's correct.
I hope to have lot to say when I return. Until then. A bientot.
05-05-05 Disneyland's party begins
Thursday night, Vicki and I went to Disneyland for the opening night of what is to be an 18 month celebration of their 50th anniversary. What a night it was. The park is all decked out in special decorations and most attractions have received a new paint job. The park is looking it's best. But the best part is the new fireworks show.
I can hardly explain the fireworks show except to say that it is awesome. I've made several attempts to try and describe the fireworks show but to no avail. It is just something you'll have to see.
A new exhibit is "The First 50 Magical Years" located in the Mr. Lincoln Theatre (as I call it). There is a display of how Disneyland looks on opening day along with many design posters and memorabilia. The movie, hosted by Steve Martin, takes you through the history of the park. It is very good.
I hope all of you will get the opportunity to see the park during the 50 year celebration.
Sailing from Long Beach, CA

Saturday, I went sailing with a friend. We sailed out of Long Beach, CA into the beautiful harbor and into the deep waters of the Pacific. The winds were up and the boat was sailing at max speed. It was a warm and sunny day, and we haven't seen too many of those lately. Anyway, we sure had a ball and are looking forward to a long summer.
